Spray Painter

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Spray Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying coatings to a variety of surfaces using spray equipment. You will work on a range of projects and areas, including warehouses, construction sites, factories, tanks, silos, window mullions, elevator doors and more, ensuring that each job meets our high standards of quality and safety. Indu-Kote Systems primarily operates in and around the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Southern Ontario, applicants should take note that our work is on-site and will require a vehicle to reliably transport themselves to job-sites in these areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, masking, grinding, sanding etc.
  • Apply coatings using spray equipment such as airless sprayers and electrostatic guns.
  • Ensure uniform and high-quality finishes on various surfaces.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment.
  • Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an spray painter. 
  • Familiarity with various spray painting equipment and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Physical ability to perform the tasks associated with the job, including standing, lifting equipment, and working in various environments.
  • Must own a vehicle for reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Experience operating lifts and booms safely and efficiently.
